Summer research at Bowdoin is an increasingly important part of the College's academic program, offering students opportunities for high-level, faculty-mentored research -- and giving faculty members time to work on their own research and scholarship. Over 100 students have received fellowships for 2006 summer research, in fields as diverse as chemistry, biology, English, psychology, music, economics, robotics, and others.
